I guess I have no option but to write this comment about Citibank's pathetic customer service.
I was issued free fuel coupouns based on the points I had accumulated by various transations through my Citibank card. Yesterday, upon arriving at an authorized petrol pump to utilize these coupons, I was shocked to see theat they are no more accepted.
Upon inquiring with the manager at the station I was made to speak to a Citibank executive who gave me various excuses but had no answer as to why citibank did not communicate this to the customers that they had withdrawn the coupon option.
Furiously, I spoke with another citibank officer later on and now they want me to take more trouble, go to a courier office, pay for the courier to have these coupons sent to Citibank and have them credit an amount equal to the coupons value. This is disgusting.
This is simply donig injustice in the open. Is there anybody who can do something about this?
