I regret to write that the Delhi Jal Board, Delhi Government, has approved and auhorised various Banks to accept Delhi Jal Board Water Bills from Consumer, including the Corporation Bank. But both the authorities lacked in co-ordination and the paid bills are shown as arrears in the next bill. It is causing un-necessary harassment, mental agony and compels the consumer to run to both the offices for adjustmen- t of paid amount. Why the consumer is being troubled for their deficiency in service. Quoting example I deposited Rs. 1140/- against bill no. 202906 dated 1.11.2010 with Corporation Bank AM-10, Shalimar Bagh, Delhi.110088, the same amount was shown as Rs. 1197/- as arrears in Bill No. 309669 dated 24.01. I had to run from pillar to post for correcting the same. Please take action against the staff responsible and stop harassment to the consumer.
