I am very disappointed and dissatisfied with Duetsche Bank Credit Card procedures.
I had a credit card bill to be paid on last 28th december so i have put cheque for the same on 24th December.
But bank have cleared cheque lately in Jan and in the next bill they have included the late payment charges and all fees which they wanted to charge extra.
Since i am abroad, i have send one mail to DB [[email protected]]for the same. But no reply.
So after returning to on March 1st i went to DB office MG road to get details. They told that my issue can be addressed by Customer Call centre or send to email to customer care email id.
So i have sent mail to [email protected] on March 29th, but no response and i have got new mail id [email protected] after searching online.
So i forward issue to new mailid on April 6th, after i got one mail on 7th like "we are looking into this issue".
For so long there was no reply, so i have send reminder on April 8th and April 13th and finally got response on April 19th.
Mail content was like "upon investigation cheque was recieved late", but there was no date information when it was recieved and cleared.
To get information i have send one more mail on the same day, but no reply till then. So today [April 28th] i have sent one more reminder and called the customer care, but the guy attended call told i need to wait 24 to 48 hrs to get reply mail.
From previous experience with bank, i know that this time also they will not keep the commitment, so i have asked escalation to higher manager, but asked wait in hold, i have waited for 2-3 minutes and no escalation happended.
There are lot of questions unanswered for me like below?
1) I got emailid [email protected] from offical website of bank, why there is no repsonse, if you send mail?
2) While i joined for this card for some years before there was no online payment option, i need to use cheque everytime time, why there is no standard procedure for clearing cheque, why they can delay and charge extra charges???
3) Why i need to pay charges for the delay from the bank?
4) Why my issue not addressed from bank?
5) Why bank can't give details for Cheque clearing???
6) Why common man at the losing end always?
