Money Withdrawl Problem

Sir,

I am having my salary account 00441140138972 with HDFC Bank Gurgaon DLF city branch but when i went to HDFC Bank Meerut (Western Kutchery Road Branch) to withdraw amount of Rupees one thousand without having cheque book then the concerned person asked me for valid Photo ID Proof and i showed them my Photo ID of Ministry of Communication and information Technology, he denied to take it as valid ID proof and then i went to Mr. Vishwas Gupta (Branch Manager HDFC meerut Western Kutchery road branch) redarding the same issue then he replied that you can not withdraw money from here even if you are carrying valid ID proof. He told me that if gurgaon branch send them mail regarding withdrawl of money then and only then i can withdraw money. But in HDFC bank website it is clearly mentioned that Photo ID issued by Central goverment are Valid ID proof. Secondly if there is a policy or guidline or Norms of HDFC bank that must be considered as solution to my problem then Kindly send it to me.
