SIR/ MADAM,

subject - complaint against HDFC credit card

I am varun guleria having saving account in HDFC BANK 08021000018836 from last three year . i have maintained account so good . and i got a call from HDFC bank employye in hamirpur (H.P.) and he say to me that you maintained account so good and you are in good existing customer list so bank facilitate me by credit card . i never use this credit card, in any shopping or any other purpose and till this time this is packed as like when i received as speed post. After submission of formalities OF CREDIT CARD with in weak i have daily calls from delhi that its compulsory to take hdfc ergo HEALTH PLAN of 120000/ monthly installment approx. 963 with this credit card. i declined but they daily call me that its compulsory .and i also tell them that when i give my formalities to open credit card the bank executive not give me such type of instruction of any policy . i have so many calls from call centre that i have to open HEALTH SURAKSHA PLAN from HDFC ergo, this is compulsory, Without this we are not able to give you credit card . i ignored so many times but daily they called me and after so much conversation with them at last i am forcebly convienced . i confirm that other listing hospital specially govt. hospital should be reimbursed. They said yes, i tell them all the formalities which can available from govt. hospital. At the time of claim they declined and demand lots of formalities that should not be available from govt. hospital at any cost. Payment mode on my saving account is auto pay. when i got all these mis selling i call on customer care and close my health policy in October 1st weak . they confirmed me your policy is closed . due to this harassment and money loss of 3000 i also close my saving account of HDFC and withdrawl balance amount.

And on 2nd November i have a call on behalf of my credit card . they tell me some balance that i have to pay. i ask why i have to pay . customer care executive tell me that u have a policy of HDFC ergo health plan . and by auto pay your amount is deducted from credit card. How this happened. I am totally surprise . i have close the policy, I have close the saving account, and i have not opted auto pay on credit card.

And I HAVE NO INTIMATION BY MOBILE CALL, NOT ANY BALANCE OR DEDUCTION MESSAGE, NOT ANY STATEMENT ON HOME ADDRESS AND NOT ANY SIGNATURE THAT THIS AMOUNT IS DEDUCTED FROM CREDIT CARD BY AUTO PAY .

AND FOR ALL THIS I AM NOT RESPONSIBLE . this is total miss selling and only harassed the customer.

Sir i have never use this credit card so why i pay the penalty for which iam not responsible.

This complained is also send by me on NOVEMBER 1ST weak.

After this in February at home address i have a legal notice to pay standing amount of credit card which is approx.3800 and plus 500 notice document charges. When i called on customer care they confirmed me amount approx 11000/-

This is a big blulder and mis selling which i have faced . i tense about this and i have called so many times on CUSTOMER CARE of HDFC bank, ERGO and credit card . and they not solved my problem, i deposited written application on 35 sector branch in NOVEMBER as by guidance from customer care at Chandigarh . and with this all process i assured that everything is solved now. Why we customers face, we have never do such things so why we get frustrate by these banks . we believe on you and on employee so why do they all this and brake confidence for which these organization are not able of trust and confidence. Banks PNB SBP SBI UCO never respond or frustrate any customer like this, if by mistake anything, they get responsibility (with huge gatheration they have).

Last month in February i have a legal letter on my home address of penalty by this private bank .and after this i have again call on CUSTOMER CARE centres between 13th march to 15th of march by my mobile and landline phone they confused me by giving numbers and say call on these numbers . but there seems no result, at last they forward my complained by saying that with in 48 hrs u have call of our senior person to compensate or dissolve my problem .today 2nd weak going to be over but i have no call and no satisfactory response.

So kindly dissolve all this matter and comensate my frustration.
