This policy has been force-fully sent to me by the HDFC tele-sales team. They had informed me that the policy instruction manual and papers will be first sent to my address, and thereafter I will receive a confirmation call for activating the policy. Accordingly, I had already requested for a cancellation, however, my HDFC credit card statement [HDFC CC No: 5243681000619158] reflects a payment due of INR 24, 000/-. I had called up my HDFC CreditCard department, however, they are saying that they have not received any cancellation request from the HDFC LIFE department. Please understand that I am in a financial crisis and I cannot bear the burden of Rs. 24, 000 every year. The policy details and the sales-agent details are mentioned below.
