Facts of Case
I am having salary/saving bank account with HSBC, M.G. Road, Fort Branch, Mumbai.
I have requested the bank for Personal Loan from bank, but my request was declined due non availability of Personal Loan scheme in their (HSBC's) product portfolio. I have approached other nationalised banks as well but was refused because my salary is being credited to HSBC's account. Hence i couldn't the Personal Loan from any bank. I am helpless and unable to avail the personal loan.
Complaint
As banking is integrated function which includes receipt of deposit from customers and lending money to borrowers. However HSBC bank's policy of not offering personal loan to customer defeat the purpose of overall banking function. It defeats the purpose of customer service. When i am banking with HSBC for making deposit then i have rights to avail other banking services as well (i.e. availing personal).
Hence i want to lodge the complaint against the HSBC's bank policy of not offering the loan to existing customer.
Kindly suggest me suitable course of action for availing the personal from HSBC Bank or any other nationalised bank and under which clauses should i make a complaint against the HSBC bank's policy for not offering the personal loan.
