I owned he HSBC credit card until aug-sep 2003 after which I had lost teh card. I had called teh customer care to stop the card operations, vis a vis I was confirmed that the same has been done. I did not receive any communication from teh bank in any regard. After Nov I left my job and hence I am not aware of any communication done thereafter. After 6 years teh bank claims payment with escalated interest of he payment not done. I presume the card must have been misused, and I had not lodged teh complaint withe relief that I was confirmed teh card operation being locked. I am unable to understand why did the bank not revert to me immediately take so long to revert.
