HSBC Credit Card
Card has been already expired

Hi,

I was using HSBC credit card in my card was expired in Dec and there was no amount (single rupee) due. Bank neither issued new card nor infomed me about old card will be extended. after more than 1 and half year, i received a call to pay Rs. 5090 toward cradit card due.

When i confirmed the transaction on which bank has added the changes, they replied with service charges they have automatically added.

How it is possible that card is still active even after card is expired (expiry date mentioned as per card is 12/08)?

Please revert the amount which is charged without my knowledge as well as close the card if it is not closed yet.
