Looting customer in the name of annual fees on an expired credit card

Dear Sir,

I had an HSBC Gold credit card (Card no. 4384 5999 9183 0018) which got expired in 02/09.

During the time of expiry I was having 0 outstanding balance in the card.

After that I never got any statement via email or post.

Now on 02-Feb this month I got a call from customer care asking me to pay Rs 8000 on that card. And he was not able to clearly say on what basis I'm supposed to pay.

Again today I got a call from some other person from number :9442960250 Claiming to be some manager and he started threatening me that I must pay this immediately otherwise they will block all my accounts etc.

Please let me know what should I do.
