Hi..

My name is Manesh Raina. Before two years, in my HSBC credit card got expired and during that time I had to go to China for my job. After some time in Mar I got a call from HSBC Credit Card department that there is an outstanding due on my credit card amounting to 50, 000 INR. I told them that I never got the card but they insisted on it. They started harassing my parents, and I finally paid the money and cleared my dues with the bank in May.

But now the problem is that I am trying to get a new credit card and it was rejected. The reason was that my name is in the CIBIL defaulter list. After so much time they have not removed my name from the defaulter list even though I had paid the money for the card which I never got from the bank. I called the HSBC customer care and they gave me one number 080-66432110 and told me to talk to them. After repeated calls no one picks up the call there and I think it is just a fake number given by HSBC customer care people.

Now I just want to know what should I do in order to make my name removed from CIBIL defaulter list even though I had paid the money.
