Forcible Deduction by bank

Dear Sir/Madam,

With much remorse I would like to submit my grievance against ill-treatment by ICICI Bank officials.

Yesterday, on 21st July my ICICI savings bank account number 627501105916 was debited with an amount of Rs. 13788.46 for unknown reasons. On enquiry, it was found out that some ICICI credit card payment has been deducted automatically.

Sir, such a credit card was never acquired, nor used by me. However, I was constantly getting messages on my cell phone for quite some time for outstanding payments of this unaccounted credit card. Long back I had reported this matter to ICICI credit card division and they confirmed to correct this error. However, yesterday I was astonished by the forcible debit by your bank of an amount on behalf of an unaccounted credit card.

This is not all. A similar amount Rs. 13788.46 has been earmarked for the same card form my another savings account number 007101516822 and even this amount is likely to be debited any moment. There was no consent taken or warning given before making such a forcible transaction. My account was having funds to clear certain important payments to my ill parents. Now I am at mercy of the bank to refund that amount to me immediately. Otherwise, I will be not only forced to severe my 12 years old ties with the bank but will also be forced to take legal action against ICICI bank including going to media and consumer court.

Looking forward to immediate remedial action from your end with a written apology.
