TRAVEL INSURANCE REFUND

This is for 'ICICILom=011-128-829' Refund for PNR PCIIAQ, PZOVBF from Jet Airways cancelled on 23rd Dec for flights on 26the & 27the Dec.

Received the refund from Jetr Airways on thee same day, but, refund from ICICI Lombard not received yet.

It was left, as might take time. But, when I checked the refund status again on my cards on 26the Dec I didn't found the same and contacted the ICICI Lombard on Phone support. I wrote a mail on 26the Dec. 2011 which replied back:

With reference to your e-mail regarding policy numbers 4110/D-00013/324442/00/000, 4110/D-00013/324443/00/000, 4110/D-00013/320961/00/000, 4110/D-00013/320962/00/000, 4110/D-00013/320963/00/000 and 4110/D-00013/320964/00/000, we wish to inform you that your said policy has been started on 26-Dec. Hence we unable to process your request for policy cancellation

Thereare, two more conversations were taken with the ICICI Lombard on 4th Jan which rendered no result.

Please note that, there is no information available during the entire online cancellation process at Jet Airways website, to cancel the Insurance.

Also, not any information is printed on the cancellation slips issued by the the Airline, that, to do a different process for ICICI Lombard cancellation.

As at the first instance, the cancelled travel ticket can not have the question of starting the policy. Therefore, the refund of premimum paid must be refunded to the respective cards paid from without any delay.
