I have this new SUZUKI Bike. Met with an accident on 17/03. Bike was insured with IFFCO TOKIO 2 WHEELER INSURANCE. Damages include the complete frontal shock absorber assembly along with the handlebar. Motor claim surveyor's superior denies approval for complete fork assembly replacement while suzuki recommends the same. Insurance representative does challenge me, a person who has his Master's in Mechanics and Structural analysis from US about the impact not being delivered to the inner components of the front shockabsorber. He says, only inner tubes need to be replaced. What about the outer tubes which also have been affected by the impact!! He is not even ready to give me in writing that he shall warranty satisfactory performance of the bike just by part replacement instead of the assembly.
Iffco Tokio should hire well qualified people to deal with motor claims who understand the aftermath of just accidents. Why should genuine clients be put at stake due to certain fraudulent clients? Also on the website they mention cashless garage networks. I am suprised that they dont have major Manufacturers like suzuki on their list.
Guys IFFCO TOKIO is a fraud company
