On 10.12. at 13.27 hrs, I received a call from Ms Priya from HDFC from 9350631702 who asked me to make a minimum payment, immediately against a card issued to my brother and add on card my son, . I also came to know that my son has utilized the card, so my brother has refused to pay. I was also hold that the minimum amount paid by my son is being adjusted towards the late payment and interest and over limit charges.

Now, my concern is why an add on card is issued to a student, who is having no income without his father’s consent? Why thousand of rupees have been given to a student without any justification? He has misutilised the card and now is unable to repay. This card has ruined his life and he is not doing well in his studies and is under tremendous pressure and tension. My brother is also very serious and is suffering from Brain Tumor.

So, I offered for a reasonable settlement and in response I was stunned to hear from Ms Priya, who said, “ Jab okaat nahin the to credit card quon liya tha.” I have got a recording clip also which I would be mailing to media, if required.

Will the Bank educate its, employees to behave with its customers? Otherwise the bank’s image may be tarnished by its employees.

However, I still offer for a reasonable compromise/settlement.
