I have issues a cheque no 053003 drawn on Axis Bank dated 20/11, which got bounced due to no mistake at my end (other reasons from the bank end) and no charges were deducted from my account by the bank. The brokerage services India Infoline deducted Rs500 as charges against the cheque bounce. They are not ready to provide me either the refund for unduly deduction of charges nor they are ready to give me a bill for it so that I can lodge a complaint against my bank for rejecting the cheque which lead to such charges.
Customer services in India still have to go a long way.
