Harresment from the recovery agents

Sir /Madam,

I am Kapil Wadhwa age 41. I was having the HDFC credit card no xxxxxxxxxxxx1860. Aproximately four years back I once recieved a call for the HDFC bank that I could avail the personal loan of Rs.25000/- (twenty five thousand only) and pay it back on the monthly instalments including the principal amt. as well. As I was not aware of the fact that the interest will be charged as per the card rates neither I was informed of the same. So the laon was availed by me later for the last three years I paid all the instalments on time, but last year we had some huge losses in the business and I had to join a job for the living and make the two ends meet but still tried to keep up with the bamk instalments and also saked for the settelment for the bank for which one of the person who was form the bank's call centre said that I shall send a written letter to the bank and should give it to the executive wo comes to collect the payments and the settelment letter will come within a months time as the process for settelment takes time but till date I did not recieve any letter from the bank's end and now the recovery agents (One of them is named SIMRAN KAUR and MR. KHAN are threatning me with dire consequences if the interest amount is not paid. Now that I do not have any job I am not in a position of paying the exorbitent amount and want the bank to settle the amount for the principal balance wich is now almost Rs.10000/- in four instalments, as I still want to clear the debts.
