Dear Sir,

We refer to the telephonic discussion you had with undersigned on various issues against the FIRST PREMIUM RECEIPT of the Policy No. 734668560 (Name: S. Pragathesh Raj, Plan: Jeevan Tarang).

I have a applied a policy in the month of July for a period of 10 years through agent. I have clearly mentioned in my application about my Plan, Scheme, Duration, Mode, Premium Amount etc. The application details is as follow :

Name: S. Pragathesh Raj

Premium Amount: Rs. 4973.00

Mode: Half Year (HLY)

Plan: Jeevan Tarang

Duration : 10 (Ten) Years

Whereas, I have received a FIRST PREMIUM RECEIPT from Life Insurance Corporation of India, Cuddalore Branch, The details of receipt as under :

Name: S. Pragathesh Raj

Policy No. : 734668560

Date : 21.07.2008

First Premium Amount: Rs. 4973.00

Mode: Half Year (HLY)

Plan: Jeevan Tarang

Duration : 20 (Twenty) Years

Immediately I discussed the issue with my agent, that they have mentioned a duriation period is 20 years instead of 10 years, .whereas I have clearly mentioned in my application for only 10 years.

He checked with LIC, Cuddalore Branch, and he replied that the Branch Manager has gone for 1 month leave due to his father expire. After that I had called you over phone regarding above issue.

You had suggested me the following

1. Duration period will be 20 years and premium amount will be same OR

2. Premium amount will double, If you required for 10 years. OR

3. If you cancelled the policy, the premium amount will be Non-Returnable (It means LOSS) OR

4. You pay a premium amount upto 10 years and then you cancel policy.

I told you that it is very difficult for me for 20 years OR double premium amount in 10 years and THIS IS BEYOND MY LIMITATION. So, I am not accepting any of your suggestion.

I have clearly mentioned about my plan/scheme in my application. If this plan/scheme is not available, then you have to be reject the application. How you can mentioned 20 years duration period without any information/knowledge.

If the plan/scheme in not under Jeevan Tarang, then my view/sugesstion will be :

1. Change the plan with same duration period and same premium amount OR

2. Change the policy in name of undersigned with same duration period and same premium amount in any plan

On 13.01. I have received a letter from LIC, Cuddalore Branch for Second Premium Amount Due on 21.01.2009.

NOW I DON'T KNOW WHAT TO DO!!! where should I have to ask for my money!!!

I humble request you look into matter and solve the above issue immediately.

With warm regards,

M. Anandan
