What is the status of request 3703475? I Hold a ULIP policy # 434444931 from Max New York life insurance and the harassment starts.
Even after 1 month, there has been no update on the status - I ve called up the 1800 200 5577 - to find out that the surrender status is still not updated and no one knows what the issue is.
In spite of repeated requests and reminders, all I get is an absolute cold response. Only getting response from 1800 200 5577 that going to send mail on priority basis, it’ll take 5days…6days..going to make arrange a call for you. Every time I call to customer care, every person is giving me different answer. Now that I ve surrendered the policy 13 august the status has not been updated. Only I am getting reference number, request number etc.
All I get are the reference numbers:

I am Mukesh kumar Gupta, a customer of Max new York life Insurance, policy number 434444931. The purpose of bringing this to your notice is I had surrendered my policy on 13th Aug and I am still waiting for the amount. I surrendered my policy with NEFT transfer form with a cancelled cheque. I had been in touch with Mr. Deepak Bhatt (9313187999, id- 100587) and asking for the branch manager’s number, so I can escalate this issue but he is refusing to give me the contact and also not letting me to speak to the department manager. He never pick my phone regards any query related to my policy.
I always getting response that your policy is under process. Today’s I had a word with branch manager vivek Sharma ([email protected]) regard my Issue he told me you will get your amount within this week. I have completed all formalities then why I am not getting my amount. still waiting for the amount.
But this response really lost impression in front of me and I won’t be able recommend anybody for Max new York. I know there is no impact will happen on Max New York business because of one customer like me. This is a clear example of taking benefit of the customer rights by an MNC in India.
I am waiting for a positive response. I don't know whom to complain now.
