Dear Sir,
It is bring to your kind notice that I have instructed Allahabad Bank Siliguri Branch for transferring a sum of Rs. 24, 500/- (Rupees Twenty five thousand five hundred) only to Mr. Suman Adhikary A/C No. 035501507211, ICICI Bank Lake Town Branch on 17.03.2010 and accordingly bank formalities from my end was complied.
It is a matter of great regret to inform you about my harassment from Allahabad Bank Siliguri Branch relating to the above transferred amount which is noted below for your ready reference and redressal.
THAT I have wrongly quoted the Branch code of Durgapur Branch instead of Lake Town Branch.
THAT due to misquoted of Branch Code the remittance has not been received by Mr. Suman Adhikary intimated to me on 19.03.2010.
THAT after getting information for not receiving the remittance I made enquiry with Allahabad Bank Siliguri Branch wherefrom a reference regarding NEFT Transaction Report bearing No. UTR/MUR Number: ALLAH10076080129 is being given to enquire with ICICI Bank.
THAT on enquiry with the ICICI Bank authority repeatedly but could not find out about the fate of the remittance with them. At last I lodged a complain with the ICICI Bank authority about the mater and request them to find out the fate of the remittance already transferred by the Allahabad Bank Siliguri Branch vide their reference No. quoted above, on 25.03.2010.
THAT I received an email letter from ICICI Bank authority wherein they have clearly stated that they have not received such remittance from Allahabad Bank, on 05.04.2010.
THAT on receipt of the ICICI Bank email I send a letter to Allahabad Bank Siliguri Branch to find out the remittance already transferred to ICICI Bank on 05.04.2010 alongwith the photocopy of the email.
THAT on 06.04.2010 Allahabad Bank Siliguri branch authority informed me that the transferred amount of Rs. 24, 500 only has already been credited in my Saving Bank A/C with a plea that the concerned officer of the Branch dealt with this section perhaps forgotten to send proper instruction to ICICI Bank authority.
Sir, please note, immediate after getting information from Mr. Suman Adhikary I persued Allahabad Bank Siliguri Branch repeatedly but sorry to inform you that the behavior and the service extended to me by the Branch Authority is really very painful. I can’t understand why the Branch Authority tried to avoid me as and when I was at their end about the fate of the remittance. It is needless to state here that the co-operation and patronage received from ICICI Bank Authority is satisfactory while they should not be accused for that remittance.
It is most unfortunate that I apprehend your Siliguri Branch Authority have had some un- towards intention with my remittance that’s why I have been harassed by the branch people during this period which should be cleared to me by the Bank Higher Authority at their earliest.
Awaiting your early kind response with a hope that your personal kind intervention in the matter will help a customer to get proper justice from Nationalized Bank and help me to continue my A/C with you.
