My LIC Policy no 210854845 was matured on 28.03.2010 and all the required formalities were comleted well in time which is confirmed by your letter no nil dated 20.03.2010 speaking therein "on receipt of your requirements, from end on 20.03. we enclose herewith cheque for Rs 36420.00 "and the cheque no 791399 was drawn for the amount Rs 36420.00 on date 28.03.2010 payable on Axis Bank but the same was received by me on 09.04.2010 through speed post vide reference no EU49376516 3 IN.Normally the speedpost is delivered locally within day or two. Meaning thereby the cheque was despatched from your office deliberately late. Had it been despatched on 20th or 21th it would have been received by me before 28.03.2010 and the same was credited to my account on 28.03.2010 which caused me a loss of interest. Being a senior citizen the interest amount matters very much for me.
You are, therefore requested to look in to the matter and arrange to pay an interest amount of Rs 150.00.Early action will be solicited and will avoid unnecessary correspondence.
