Non receipt of policy

Sir,

my friend J.JAYAKAR, working in Southern Railway has depsoited Rs.5750/- towards PLI on 29/12 in PLI office/Chennai and the policy number assigned to him is TN 432797R - TILL DATE the policy document has not yet received and he is afraid of policy premium that should have been paid in 29th Jan.2010. No advise regarding recovery through every month salary is also not received by his employer. please guide and a line in reply will be appreciated.
