I took a personal loan recently and have been given false information from AXIS bank regarding:

1. Service charge: Over the phone it was communicated 1.5% and when the loan was dispersed Axis bank charged 2%.

2. Rate of Interest: Over the phone it was communicated 14% p.a but in actual 15% was charged.

I had raised my voice over an email for which I have never got a response in written. I manged to get them on the call (even that was tough) and they ask for a proof (if the same was communicated over an email).

Well to be honest, that was never done. They don't do it over an email communication.

The proof is even after following up on this issue for so long, I could never get a response in an email!!!

To rub salt on injury, there have been two deductions for the FIRST EMI!!

Can anyone help me out or suggest as to what can be done?
