Today 20-05 I got an sms on my number 9748532510 stating that 'Your Airtel Friendz Chat service has been renewed. Renewal charges Rs. 30 for 30 days'. This is the first time I came to know that such type of service is activated against my number. I waste no time and contact the complain cell of Airtel through 198 and I was surprise to know that this service was activated since January 16. That means every month I am paying Rs 30 to Airtel for the service which I am totally unaware of. When I request to the customer care executive who response my call, to deactivate the service and return Rs 30 which is deducted for this month he bluntly refuse to do that. I am not asking for the refund of the money which I paid for last 4 months, but only for the coming month when I am deactivating it and not suppose to use furthermore.
This service was activated without my concern. And by deactivating it when I want to get refund of my money which is paid in advance they are declining to do so. Is there any record of my concern to get this service? Is this the way to behave a customer? Please take care that the deactivation of Friendz Chat take place properly and I ll get back the amount which is deducted from my account in advance.
