I had a sound coming from my Pulsar 150 cc bike. When I approached the Bajaj authorised service station regarding the problem, I was advised that there was a major problem with my engine…funny thing they informed that I had not changed the enginer oil on time. It was hardly 2480 kilometers since I changed the engine oil at the same service station.

When I contacted Bajaj customer service through their helpline, I was confirmed that it is enough that the engine oil is changed once in 5000 kms and if it is Bajaj oil then it can be changed once in 10000 kms. When I raised a complaint to Bajaj, the complaint was directed to the same service station who informed me that it was normal wear and tear problem. Some other person stated that the engine oil could have been consumed due to the heavey traffic in Bangalore (I have been riding her for the last three years and never had any complaint!!!). Some other person said that you should have changed the piston after 33 thousand kms.

All I can imagine is that the service station is trying to close the complaint by providing some stupid reasons. Can anyone help me to pursue this complaint further. You can email me on [email protected]
