Car Insurance Premium Paid..Insurance not Done... Payment not reverted

Dear Ma’am/Sir,

This is to intimate you regarding outstanding reversal of payment made to Carnation for vehicle insurance a year back.

A proposal for vehicle insurance was made through National Insurance Company Limited Book no. 150100/book/038 Proposal no. 150100/prop/SMC sub code 946 on 14-Jan. The amount deposited by cash to Carnation Sahibabad centre was Rs 2749.

The policy was not granted due to unknown reasons but the cash deposited to Carnation was never returned to me.

This has resulted in un-bearable stress, loss of time, loss of no claim bonus and a period of one year during which my car remained without insurance.

The people concerned from Carnation viz. Ms Shrutika and others from the customer care desk showed complete lack of respect for a customer’s time and money and an inherent lack of knowledge of insurance processes during the entire 2011 in which I had to follow-up with them.

I would like to request Carnation for an immediate reversal of payment and hope that the management would be kind enough towards its customers to spare them the trouble of going to a consumer court and/or taking legal action for a petty sum.
