Central railway local train
Irregular halt at crossing

I boarded the fast train at 7:35 am at shahad on 10/04, which comes from titwala and goes to mumbai cst, It came to halt at shahad fatak. a spot between shahad railway station and kalyan railway station, and after 8 minutes it got the signal to move ahead because one mail from platform number 4 was crossing towards shahad. When the train reached kalyan at platfrom no.3, it again had to stop there for 5 minutes since another mail was passing through platform number 4 and the fast local can not cross to fast track if the train is passing through and again for another local train (7.51 local for karjat) which was coming to platform no.4. In between this, train got delayed by 15 minutes and got the go ahead signal for crossing at 7:55 though its usual time of departure from kalyan is 7:41 a.m. Again train got slow outside parsik tunnel toward thane station on fast track and had to wait for another mail to cross over from platform no.7 . The train reached dadar station at 8:50 as against its usual time of 8:32. Such type of delays have become regular feature for shahad passenger. Again on next day i.e.11/04, again same train had to stop at shahad fatak for the mail train to pass and make it late by 8 minutes. These type of delays frustrates the passengers and such type of crossings delays the trains daily

It is requested to please make the local train pass the signal then u give the go ahead signal to mail trains since mail train takes more time to cross signal and it will also cover the loss of time if any by its speed at night time,

please do something to ease the frustration caused to passengers by frequent delays due to various crossings
