Refund Claim

I tried to book a boston to new york (La Guardia) return ticket on friday 09th march (morning US time) using my cleartrip. account.

By the end of payment, there was some problem with the cleartrip site and I neither got the e-ticket on my gmail account nor any update in cleartrip account.

I waited for abt. 30 mins and as I couldn't get the ticket, I tried to call cleartrip. However, there was no one available at the call center to pick the call. I then called US airways to confirm if there was any such ticket booked on my name and they informed that there is no ticket booked against my name.

As I didn't receive any ticket from cleartrip on my gmail / cleartrip account and after checking with US airways, I again booked the ticket (Trip ID: 1203098441) and the same got confirmed instantly and I got an update both on my gmail account and cleartrip account.

After sometime, to my surprise, I received the earlier ticket after abt. 3-4 hrs of booking (Trip ID: 1203097575). I then cancelled the same immediately as I thought if was not booked.

I have already given the proof of the information by sending the screenshot of timings of mail received for the trip to the company. However, they claim that there was no error at our end as per confirmation from our concerned department.

They informed that they are waiving off only the Cleartrip charges of Rs.500/- as a service gesture. I am not satisfied with the response and would like to have complete refund without any penalty charges.
