Have traveled by a TAXI (Cab No - WB04E-6317) [Kolkata yellow public taxi transport service] on dated 5th March around 2.10 pm from science city to saltlake sector. The meter reading after the journey was horrible and it read around 65 point which is almost 30 point extra distance. Certainly the bill was around 50% extra. He took 130 Rs for this short distance. Once i alerted the driver about the thing, he just refused about the abnormality of his taxi meter. There are such taxis roaming within the Kolkata city with manipulated their meter and cheat the public. Its very much required to take action against them.
People should be honest from there heart else we need to make some rule to behave them honest. Please do some action that taxi so another people will not get affected.
