1. My car Ford Ikon Flair, Regn No JH 05 L 7322 was admitted at the Swarn Ford Service Centre Kanpur on 26 September for sudden stoppage due to engine oil leakage near Orai. The initial response of the service centre was very cold and inspite of being in army posted at a remote boder district of Arunachal Pradesh I was unnecessarily made to wait for five days in Kanpur after which I was told that the car will be repaired and handed over within four weeks and Rs 24, 000 will be the total repair expense. Even after eight weeks the car was still not repaired and I was told that the engine has to be opened and they need sanction which I gave on phone. They did not open the engine even after assurance and I was forced to go on leave and request them in person. After almost three months of admission, I checked but the car was still not repaired and I send a complaint to ford India through e-mail on 17 Dec.
I received the mail from Ford, but even after their written assurance on the matter the vehicle was not repaired till 30 March 12, when I approached Swarn Ford and saw that the Central Locking System was missing, lock and key was replaced and was told that the vehicle will be in a condition to be handed over only on 31 March. All this happened after I received mail from Ford on 19 January that the car is ready to be delivered.
2. When I got the car on 31 March 12, I was charged Rs 72000 which was thrice the charge which was told initially. Also, things which were in perfect shape at the time of admission were changed arbitrarily and charged for, like battery and associated electrical system. This multinational company not only harassed and humiliated me repeatedly but I also felt cheated and helpless.
3. Kindly get me justice for the unexpected and unending delay, humiliation, harassment, cheating and arbitrary charging much beyond the assured expense.
