I travelled by GoAir (G8 229) from Delhi to Mumbai on 26th Nov. The airline lost a checked in strolley bag. Upon registering the PIR with GoAir in Mumbai, I was given a few phone numbers and also the assurance that the airline would be in touch with me to give updates. I have not received a single call from them and what is more, there is absolutely no response on the numbers they gave!
I am appalled at the apathy of the staff and at how lightly they are treating the situation. Going by the number of lost luggage complaints GoAir has and the paltry amount they offer as compensation, I even wonder if this is part of their business plan to make money off passengers' checked in bags!
I am giving this forum a shot before proceeding legally against the airline.
