I once trusted the name Hero Honda...
But recently due to the unpleasant events that took place at ur authorized service centre at Mega Motors, Aluva, Ernakulam Dist, Kerala. I am very disappointed.
The trust with Hero Honda goes long back, i had a Hero Honda Glamour and then i bought Karizma R (2011 model).
After purchase of Karizma i met an accident on 15-sept, which had caused considerable dammage to my bike's front portion and the tank got de-shaped.
As it was under insurance cover i straight away went to the Hero Honda authorized sales and service centre (Mega Motors, Aluva) for repair and maintenance and handed over on 15-sept.
I gave the bike on, and it was promised that the bike shall be repaired using new parts re[placing the defected/damaged parts within one month.
There was absolutely no communication from the service centre during the one month period and i had to check up on weekly basis about the progress of the work, and i was always informed by them that the work is going on and the vehicle will be delivered on time.
But to my utter disappointment, when i went after one month to collect my bike i saw my bike lying in the same condition as it was delivered (untouched).
On enquiry it was informed that parts were yet to be received.
After lot of hue and cry they requested us to wait for one more week.
This went on week after week without even having the courtesy of informing the costumer about their bikes status.
Finally on 01-nov they asked us to collect the bike after it was fully repaired except for the replacement of fuel tank.
On checking it was found that following parts were yet to be fitted/supplied:-
1. Meter assembly fitted was of old model karizma and that too second hand i.e a meter which had run 10500km
2. New Handle was not provided instead- a bend handle was fitted.
3. Left side mirror
4. Under Cowl set
5. Still the disk of front break was bent and non functional
6. Visor screen fitted was of old model Karizma
The bike was repaired for a cost of Rs 26076/- in which all the above mentioned items were also paid.
Is this the reputed service of Hero Honda!!! wherein the full payment was taken and still we were given old or defected parts claiming as new ones.
When informed that such sort of treatment will be taken up with Consumer Court, they again gave the promise of one week within which they will rectify everything.
Finally the bike was made available to me after repair on 06/12 and still some parts are yet to be replaced.
Details are as follows:-
1. Left side mirror yet to be supplied
2. Meter cable yet to be supplied
3. Handle still bent-(the bent was counterchecked/confirmed with another authorized hero honda service centre)
4. Right side reflector yet to be supplied
5. Vehicle is having abnormal sound from the front portion
This is a plea from a very dis satisfied costumer.
it is requested that no costumer may be treated in such a fashion.
It is also requested the pending works on my bike may be taken up by Hero Honda as soon as possible and returned to me after the rectification of above mentioned points.
