Honda Service Centers in Gurgaon - Ring Road Honda & Pearl Honda - are not capable of repair. They can only replace. And even when they replace most times in things like windows, doors, inside ceiling etc they end up screwing up. Honda is only good when new and in the name of the overpriced service they wash, change oil and air filters. Even there they screwed up once by not tightning the engine oil bolt once in my car due to which all oil leaked from my car and the engine almost seized. Shame on Honda and their service set up in India. Never buy this car and if you do sell it withn 2 years. It cannot be serviced by this incompetent bunch after that.
I have been consistently disappointed with the Honda service at both their dealers in Gurgaon. Typically they service the engine well, as there is probably not much that they need to do. But if it comes to body shop work or anything to do with doors, widows etc the quality is quite frankly pathetic. I am a Honda customer since 2000 from the US and now we have two Hondas. But I am very discouraged to buy another Honda when we replace our present cars. In the present case my car went to Pearl Honda when a tree branch fell over it in a storm. The roof was damaged and was repaired. Everything came okay except the inside roof upholstery. First it was very dirty, several screws of the handles missing and air gaps in the upholstery. I sent back the car then and again I pointed out during the present service. It was cleaned and the screws put but they could not fix the inside ceiling/upholstery. According to them it cannot be done. I wonder why Honda makes such products which their own dealers and service centers cannot repair? And this is when they charged the insurance company - which means me over Rs 65000.00. Very disappointed. Honda is not for me in the future.
