Filled in Petrol at IOC retail outlet dealer namely Ravi Automobile service, Ghatkopar Mahul Road, Tilaknagar, Mumbai-89 on 5.06.10 Bill No: 126624. After about 15 KMS my show room car just 15 days old stopped working. Maruti authorised mechanic checked and confirmed that petrol is having water and the entire fuel system needs to be cleaned of water. This cost me arounf Rs 4500 including towing charges and parts like Injector cleaner. I am shocked to note that IOC dealer is supplying Petrol adulteration with water. Normally most of the dealers mic Naphtha/NGL but here it appears to be direct water. Can IOC control this cheating from their retail outlets. They claim to have Quality assurance dept etc.
