I booked two seat in Train No.16382 from Kottayam to Alwaye to undertake the journey on 25-01, The booking was made thru internet vide PNR no, 4537871567. The schedule departure of the train from kottayam station is 11, 40 Hours.. The train was running late by more than hour but no announcement was made till 12, 40 Hours. Inquiry counter was unmanned. with the great difficulties I could get information from fellow passenger at 12.50 Hours that the train has developed some technical problem. I tried to reach to Station Master but the office was closed. The police picket at station is of no any use as the police peaple were not at all helpful. I was traveling with my wife and to catch a flight from Kochi Airport I had no other option but to engage a taxi at that point of time as the arrival time of the train was not till 13.00 Hours. Since I was running short of time and it was not possible for me to get the Confirm Ticket canceled, My repeated request to one of the counter went in vien as the counter staff insisted for standing in the queue despite the staff was not having any passenger in his counter. Since the train was running late and would not have reached on time at my destination, all probability I would have missed the flight at 16.00 Hours. Now I request that I may be refunded the amount of Ticket which I could not use for travel due to deficient service of the Railays.
