I had booked a sleeper ticket (PNR 4116041757) on TVM Mail (2623) and my status was RAC 15 just before chart was prepared (WL/44 on booking). After getting on train my ticket was not confirmed. But another RAC passenger who was behind me on waiting list was allotted berth. When i asked the TTE about this issue he told me that in that coach berth was available so he allotted it. But I asked him whether as per the rule, the berth must be allotted in the RAC list order. He shouted at me for asking this. Also he threatened my friend who came to ask on my behalf (me being a female passenger.)I was not allotted berth inspite of my ticket being RAC15 before chart preparation. I also saw the TTE allotting berth to people who took general tickets and paid money. The name of the TTE is A.Sankar.
