I, Sriniwas Sadani travelling from Bangkok Suvarnabh to Kolkata on 10th August by flight no.9W 0065 Class-G, Gate-F1, Seat No.27E with my wife Anuradha Sadani Seat No.27D have lost 1200 USD from our checked-in luggage which was locked with the numbering system. The lock has been tampered in such a way that now the suitcase opens with any number combination. Another co-passenger named Pralay Sircar has lost 10000 INR from his checked-in luggage. Another person Anu Agarwa lhas lost her shawl from the checked in Luggage
I had distinctly kept 12 notes of 100 USD in the plastic envelope provided by the money exchanger in between my clothes in the suitcase. On reaching home I found the same envelope in the same place but it was empty and rest of the clothes intact.
The notes have been taken out after I checked in my luggage at arond 5.30 pm at the Bangkok Airport and the departure of my flight was at 20.20.(Bangkok Time).
T request the authorities to help me trace and get back my hard earned money and please ensure that this does not happen to others.
