We had booked a Skoda Rapid elegance petrol White color through JMD Skoda Thane during 3rd week of November and even applied for loan from Axis Bank via JMD Skoda. During booking it was said that we will try to deliver you the car by November end but we commit that you will get it by 1st week of December. We were in a continuous touch with the sales person regarding when are we going to get the delivery. On 1st of December we were assured that your car is coming on 6th of December and you can collect it on the 8th. They even disbursed the full loan amount in their account. But on 7th December when we spoke to the sales person he told that white color is not available so go for any other color or go for mid model. We were not ready for the mid model and by the time we could make our mind we got a call from the sales person saying a black car is available as someone has cancelled it but you need to buy accessories worth 40000 to get this car. We were not ready for this as we need not buy any accessories as the top model is fully loaded and furnished. As we were not ready to pay an extra amount they told you have to wait till march to get a car and that to they are not committing. we were forced to cancel the booking as they failed to deliver whatever they committed. As we had applied for loan at Axis Bank through JMD, we asked for contact number of some concerned person at the Axis bank so as we can close the loan account but were misguided and given the no. of an employee from finance department from JMD. When we contacted him he told us that he is not in the office and once he gets there he would check our details. We asked him that is he from Axis bank he told us yes. But when we came to know about it we got the number of Xis bank person from our sources. On 14th December we requested JMD sales person to refund back the loan amount which they had disbursed in their account along with the bank charges as its their fault that they have failed to keep their commitments. On 20th after a lot of requests and many personal visits we were said that they have refunded back the amount along with the charges. But they failed to provide us with any receipt or evidence. We Contacted Axis bank for this & were told that your account is not closed yet nor have they received any such request from JMD. After a lot of fight and mental harassment we recived a receipt on 30th December stating refund paid along with the charges but was said that you would receive the cheques and account closure letter within 15 days and it was confirmed by Axis Bank. We were like we have won a battle but did not knew what was coming our way. On 8th when we checked our account Axis bank had deposited a cheque which we had given for EMI. The harassment still continues...
