Our flight from Goa to Cochin was cancelled due to "technical issues" according to the Kingfisher representative. When pressed for details of these technical issues, none was forthcoming. We had arranged to meet friends from Kenya at Brunton s Boaryard for this night. As a result of this, we lost out on our chance to stay at Brunton s Boatyard and missed seeing our friends.
To date we have not had any satisfactory reply from Kingfisher or any of its agents.
I am trying to claim from my travel insurance company, they need confirmation that the flight was indeed cancelled and I can t even get that! I thought the Indian government had passed laws recently where passengers travelling on internal airlines can get compensation from the offending culprits who keep on cancelling flights when they wished to? Where does one go from here?
