I am using Logan for the last 3 years, milage used is 23000 Kms. Last month the accelerator was getting stuck, the gear and clucth became very hard, driving was a real pain and it felt like the car was being forced to move. Immediately the car was sent for Service to Sterling Motors, Faridabad, where they assured rectification of all three, the accelerator stucking problem was solved, gears are still tight, as for the Clutch the Service Centre recommended to change the Clutch Wire, it was changed during Service.
Presently the situation is the same, clutch is still very hard. Repeatedly the Car has been taken to Sterling Motors, where they checked and reverted back saying that the Clutch will have to be changed.
Each time I sent the Car, the opinion was different, one mechanic even said that the problem is gear-box.
Last week I sent the car for the repair of Clutch, but they refused to make the recommended repair. As per the Service Manager & Mechanic, the change of Clutch would not give any benifit, improvement would be only about 5-10%. Their opinion is that the all these Petrol Cars give Clutch problem after 20000 kms.
If this is the feed-back of the Service Centre, Mahindra should discontinue this vehicle and launch it after complete rectification of the Mechanical Problem. Kindly note 23000 Kms running is not much from a vehicle of this size and at this Cost. There are many more cars in the same segment wihout such problems. I think I made a blunder by buying this Car when it was newly launched. Some Manufacturing Defects still exist. Contact No. 9818682170
