I have taken my accidental car to Swani Motors on 27th December for repairs and I was promised it to be delivered on 3rd January by Paint WorkShop Manager, Javir Singh. When I called on 2nd Jan to ask a time to pick the car on 3rd Jan I was tald to wait until 4th jan and then 5th Jan. Again on 5th January. Reaching Jasvir on Phone had been a pain, he rarely picks his phone (once in few days) and never bothers to call back or inform on his own if the car is ready or delayed. It is you the customer who have to follow him dedicatedly to hear something!!

After a long follow up finally phone was picked on 5th and was told it should be ready on 7th January and this is final promise and when I tried to call on 7th January almost after 2 hours phone was picked up and was told that now it will be ready for deliver on 10th morning positively as the car is going for paint.

And today since morning I was trying to reach Jasvir Singh on phone and I was told to be given an update on the time to pick up soon at 10 AM. Then now Jasvir's assistant Mr. Bhatia called me up telling that Jasvir has told him to call and inform me that car is going to paint now and should be ready for delivery tomorrow.

I am so frustrated and disappointed at this moment and have spoken to Jasvir at length about timely delivery of car as I had relatives visiting me from Canada and asked for one date as I was told of similar experiences by other customers on regular basis, that Swani Motors never deliver a car on time. he promised to believe me that things have improved now and I can pick the car without any 2nd date on 3rd of January.

I have tried to reach owner Mr. Gagandeep Singh Swani on his office and mobile phone given by receptionist, but to utter disappointment it went unanswered.

Not sure what to do, I am paying Rs. 2500 per day for taxi and at Swani Motors there is no one who can understand what Customer Service is??? I am Swani Motors Customer for more than 11 years now and we have (friends and family) bought more than 12 cars from them including the servicing from them on regular basis.

I have called Maruti Service Center on the same day and got complaint number from Maruti # 4100259041 on 10th January.

I followed up and finally got the car by spending the whole day following up with the dealer work shop team in person. At that time I was asked to pay Rs. 24, 500.00 than originally Rs. 13, 000.00 quoted by workshop manager (Jasvir Singh) and when I protested, I was I need to pay if I need the car to delivered.

When I inspected the car before delivery there were following issues still there:

1. The all New Dicky (it had to be replaced) was having a dent on it!!

2. The Front bonnet having paint scratches (it was also all new because of replacement)

3. The Outside Rubbers of all doors were missing/damaged.

4. The Mirror plastic on passenger site was broken.

5. The whole painted area was having grains on it.

6. Paint was there everywhere in the car, on seats, plastics, rubber etc.

7. There doors were not aligned with each other.

8. The Bonnet's was unevenly placed.

and lot more items.

This was brought to notice of Mr. Mahesh as Jasvir Singh suddenly disappeared from the workshop. The I spoke to Mr. Sanjay (or Sanjeev) who was main manager for dealership's workshop. He spoke to Jasvir and then Gagandeep Singh and I was told they wanted me to pay to take delivery and the issues I told will be taken care and I need to bring car again. In all they billed my car for about Rs.40000.00. I was so frustrated and had no option but had to pay to take delivery of car.

The next day I visited Mr. Gagandeep Swani's office to show him the issues and about the billing because I was charged much more than Rs.13000.00 quoted to me by Mr. Jasvir Singh. I was once again promised to get the things looked into and get my car fixed.

Then after 2 days after my follow up with Jasvir Singh, the car was picked by Jasvir and Mahesh for fixing the pending issues and paint problems etc. That day Dicky, fender and bonnet was repainted and most of the paint was removed from plastics and I was delivered the car and was given refund of Rs.2500 by a voucher. When to the delivery guy I told that pain still have problems, I was told since paint is fresh they will take the car again and get it compounded and get the rest of the issues fixed (e.g. paint on surfaces and rubber issues on windows outside).

Then after almost a month I had to call them again to get the issues fixed as the car ride has gone very bumpy. That day I paid about Rs.2000.00 for issues other than the original ones as I had to get seat belts replaced too.

But when the car was delivered at home I noticed the same issues once again. You can still see the thick paint spots on the bonnet, fender and much more the palm imprint on the paint!!! The car is now missing at regular intervals adding more pains!

I have been a very loyal customer to Maruti and Swani Motors in particular, but am so frustrated with the present experience, I can't believe that after spending Rs.40000.00 I got a crap service and they screwed up my car.

Is someone listening seriously at Maruti or Swani Motors, Ludhiana? Please Help!!!
