Sudden malfuntion

I am Subhash Bhattacharya owner of Maruti Alto LXI (X FUN) model no. AR4CLD, Chassis No. 806233, engine no. 4143068, date of Delivery 08/11/06 from Standard Auto Agencies, Jabalpur. My extended warranty was till 26 th December and the last servicing date was 9/10/09 from standard Auto agencies Jabalpur.

We were very happy with the service and the performance of the car till yesterday, as when we were on move on highway suddenly the engine heated up so thought to stop and give a call to nearest maruti serivce station. Then our car was towed to the service station and to our surprise the diagnosis showed that there was a major engine damage, and we have to replace half of the engine. The further diagnosis showed that the engine coolant has liked inside the engine.

To our surprise the indication meter didn't showed any rise in temperature and also the 32 bit processor also didn't give us any pre alarm of this failure. Though we found the reason of failure but we were not able to the cause of engine coolant getting inside the engine.

We have immense belief on the cars and service offered byMaruti udyog, and as we were also planning to buy a Maruti SX4, but if this is the future of maruti engine then i fear taht you are going to loose one loyal customer. I would like that if you can look into the matter for a minute and provide us with a propper solution. I will be awaiting for a action plan from maruti behalf.
