Hello,

I landed at Mumbai airport on 30th Nov at 4.30 pm. at Terminal 1B. I made a booking for a Meru cab from the phones available just before exiting the terminal. I got confirmation from Meru that the cab will be available in 5 minutes (the driver called me and said so).

Here is the text of the SMS confirmation that I received from Meru:

Thank you for choosing MERU. Cab: MH01JA9713, Chauffer: Pankaj Wadhwa, Cell: 9320082727 will reach at Terminal: 1B soon.

When I told the driver (after he asked for it) that I had to go to Mahim, he told me he would be there in 5 minutes. I waited there for around 15 minutes. Since he did not turn up I started walking towards the prepaid auto rickshaw/ yellow taxi stand. On my way there I saw the above said cab: MH 01 JA 9713 ferrying another customer out of the airport (obviously he did not want to cater to a short distance that I had to go). This is worst kind of customer service that any service company can offer. I would urge Meru to take stern action against Mr. Pankaj Wadhwa, Cell: 9320082727, who had the guts to keep a customer waiting after confirming that he would be there as promised. I am going to make sure that this piece of information reaches all the people I know.
