My friend had travelled from NDLS-New Farakka on 21st June from New Delhi to Bhagalpur. He had booked his Hero Honda Passion Pro Motorcycle whose bilty number is 1695926 in luggage van before 2 hours of journey. He was told that the goods would be loaded in the same train. But, when he reached Bhagalpur station, he found that the motorcycle was not there in the train and so the goods didnt get transported. I have made the Query on this issue as my friend was in Bhagalpur on New Delhi Railway Station Parcel Ghar they answered they have loaded the motorcycle in box number 05734 though how could this be possible. I have visited the N.R.Cell too to make the query regarding this issue but they also remain helpless. I am exhausted with such an irresponsible behaviour & system of Indian Railway. There was no enquiry number provided on the red slip (bilty) and none of the railway officials were ready to answer for it. They just told that it will be delivered in the next train. It is still not delivered after 4 days in the next NDLS-New Farakka express. Are the services provided to the passengers to increase there hardships or for there comfort?
