I booked an ACTIVA in the month of July. On 12th Dec in the evening I received information from the dealer to come and collect my piece. They also instructed me to make the payments one day in advance so as to complete the paper work formalities before the delivery of the vehicle. I POLITELY REFUSED TO MAKE ANY PAYMENTS IN ADVANCE, rather GET THE DELIVERY OF THE VEHICLE ON THE SAME DAY WHEN THE PAYMENT FOR THE VEHICLE IS MADE.I also reminded them that I had regarding cheque payment for the vehicle I informed them that I would collect the same on 15th Dec. On 15th I reported for delivery of the vehicle at 4.30in the evening. They insisted me to get accessories fitted and take the vehicle next day. When I told them I was not interested in any of the accessories they refused to acccept the payment through cheque. They made me sit there for more than 2hours. In spite of giving them choice of either State Bank Of India or IDBI or UCO bank cheques for payment they told me that there is no RULE TO ACCEPT TO ACCEPT CHEQUES . When I asked them to show the rule finally they had to deliver the vehicle. SUCH HARASSMENTS TO THE CUSTOMERS SHOULD NOT DONE.
