I have contacted the Taxi Driver (Mr. Hariom Shingh his mobile no 9819486706) standing at mulji nagar signal S V Road Borivali in the eve at 18.00 hrs dt 11.12.2009 to drop at dadar railway station on 12.12.2009. I casullaly asked him how much fare it will be upto dadar. he said Rs 350/- around however I ask him to take as fare as per meter.
Next day on 12.12.2009 at 21.30 hrs I called him tpo come to my residence. he came with taxi meter down, so i asked him to take fare as per meter but he refused to come as per meter and he demanded Rs 350/- I refused. He immidately put our luggage outside the Taxi and also told us to leave the Taxi thereafter he ran away.
It is also expireinced that the Taxi Drivers Standing at Mulji Nagar Signal or Kora Kendra Signal usually refuse to travell in short Distance (upto Andheri).
Also at dadar Station in the early morning Taxi drivers usually charge Rs 500/- from dadar to borivali. They show various types of tarrif cardsand deceive the passenger coming with heavy luggage.
I would like to request you to go through the matter and see that the passenger should not face such problems in future.
