I regret to inform that Rly office, dealing in e-ticket TDR refund cases at Delhi is enjoying making fool of customers. Even if ticket cancellation is due to Rajdhani train running 11 hrs. late, they sleep on the file and take 6 months to take a decision of making 50% refund.
They try to find out loop holes and procedural mistakes of passengers or IRCTC department to avoid the refund. Instead of helping the passenger who has already sufferred a lot due to late running of his train and who had to reach destination by road spending lot more money to catch the flight to USA.
This is a typical example of mental agony of a e-ticket passenger on cancellation or abnormal late running of trains. Rly administrtion should come out with an easy procedure for refund of money to e-ticket holders also as available for window tickets.
