I had called the customer care of Spice Jet to ask reg a booking of flight from Delhi to Cochin on 21st Aug.

After getting the flight details, I had enquired about the insurance.

The Agent told that it can be done while booking online or also by booking the ticket by phone and then calling Tata Aig customer care we can take the insurance.

So I had made the booking on phone, as per the agents suggestions and was given the number of Tata AIG .

But surprisingly, Later when I called Tata AIG I was told that insurance cannot be taken manually over phone for a ticket booked by phone.

It can be taken only by booking the tickets online.

Moreover I had asked for a clarification by mail, I have sent 2 reminders, but no response yet from them.
