This is to bring to your kind notice regarding a gas agency which is not giving proper service, instead compelling on some aspects for the sake of their business.
I have been trying to get gas connection for the past one month, got my ration card and all necessary documents and submitted as required by the agency. As said by the staffs in the agency, we received a register post which is for the purpose of the address verification, the staffs also informed us that after getting the register post, we need to pay and the very next day we will get the gas connection.after receiving the register post we went to the agency, for which they asked us to pay rs.4500, initially we thought of paying, but later after seeing their letter, we got to know that it is for the gas stove that we need to pay rs, 1250, and also the board displayed there clearly indicated that it is not mandatory to get the gas stove and that it is of the interest of the customer. since we had gas stove, we told that we need not want gas stove for which the staff told that we need to meet the owner, and that we have to meet after working hours i.e after 7.00 p.m.we did not understand the procedure, so we asked another staff, he told that we have to get the gas stove if we need connection.the next day[13.01.11]we went to meet the owner, WE INFORMED HIM EVERYTHING, HE instead of solving the problem, shouted for coming after working hours, when we informed that we did not want stove, he told he has to check the ration card[the ration card has been issued by the DC office, Tumkur for the purpose of getting gas, the ration card clearly indicates the same]when we informed, we dont want stove as it is clearly displayed in the notice board, he said that it will be written on board, but he will not give without gas stove.the way he behaved was very bad for the want of money which is against the law.the way the staffs behave to the customers is very bad and they are very rude.
