Non Receipt of Premium Leather Bag

Dear SIr / Madam

BAGITTODAY.com regularly sent me e-mails offering various products under huge discounts. Being a shopping website of INDIA TODAY GROUP, I tried to place an order for Luxury Premium Bag on 23rd or 24th December. However, at that time the product was out of stock and subsequently, I received a call from Bag It today on 27th December asking me to purchase the said bag, if I am interested. Accordingly, they had booked my order for the said bag, made the online payment of Rs. 798/- through my credit card and given my address for delivery. They had given me the order ID no. 474458659. The said order was booked by Ms. Neelam and given me her office number as 0120-4078093 for inquiry etc. The delivery was promised to me was 10-12 days time.

However, when the said bag was not deleivered, I started contacting Ms. Neelam at telephone no. 0120-4078093. I have tried to contact her at least for 15 times, out of which I was succeeded only for 3 -4 times and she informed me that the product was despatched, however, she could not procide me the details fof despatch. I have sent 5 emails at cutomer care of bag it today through my yahoo ID as well as through their portal, but they did not care to respond my mail. 2 times their executive also asked me to contact on phone no. 0120-4112424 for exact status of my order. During the conversation on the said phone number, I was informed that my said order has not been booked at all and informed me that since I have paid the amount of Rs. 798/-, they will update the same in their database and will despatch the bag in next 10 days time. While Ms. Neelam narrated me some different story about the status of my order.

The apathetic and callous approach of customer care executive of India today, which is known for great customer service in its integral part and commitment, is a matter of serious concern. I failed to understand why the customer is receiving different types of responses from your different executives, while the factual information is available on your database..? and why the despatch of Premium Leather Bag is not happening eventhough the payment of Rs. 798/- had already been done from my credit card on 27th December...? Please note that apart from mental agony, i have also suffered a financial loss of Rs. 798/- and I cannot continue to wait till indefinite period.

I am seeking your help to get my problem resolved by either delivery of the product or refund of my hard earned money.
